It was over 38 years ago when Carl O. Helvie received his diagnosis of lung cancer and was given only 6 months to live. Doctors immediately wanted to schedule surgery to remove the cancerous tumor, but since Carl already worked in the health care industry, he decided to take the time and explore the various holistic therapies that were available to him.

Carl researched and was able to find a sympathetic doctor willing to offer him guidance, and together they came up with some very effective non-toxic therapies to treat the cancer.

Today Carl can boast that he is the longest living lung cancer survivor, and he did it all by following his intuition and trusting in holistic medicine.   At age 80, he remains free of chronic illness and says that he does not take any prescription medications; the average for those over age of 75 is to be diagnosed with three chronic illnesses and to be taking five prescription medications. The audio and video links provided below give a good overview of the therapies that Carl used, and you will also find a link to his book which provides more details his experience with cancer.

(((AUDIO))) Listen to an interview as Carl shares details of his diagnosis as well as all of the alternative therapies he used to cure his lung cancer naturally.

Although I have not personally met Carl, I have chatted with him frequently.   He is a member of an alternative cancer forum that I administrate, and he is always willing to share information about the therapies that he used to cure his cancer.  You can reach Carl through his Holistic Health Radio Show website.

Reviews for his book:

Dr. Julian Kenyon, Medical Director of the Dove Clinic for Integrative Medicine in London says, ” Carl Helvie ‘s case is remarkable. This is a man of great courage, who has followed a natural approach to his life-threatening illness and this has resulted in a cure. This has to be impressive and his book deserves a wide readership which I hope it will get.”
Dr Frank Shallenberger, Medical Director of the Nevada Center of Alternative Medicine, author, and editor of Real Cures Newsletter says “If you are ever diagnosed with advanced cancer, the odds are very good that your oncologist will tell you that unless you immediately consent to chemotherapy you are going to die. This is a lie. I know. I have been treating conventional chemotherapy failures for years. Other than for leukemia or lymphoma, conventional chemotherapy is almost always a death sentence. There as so many more effective ways to treat advanced cancer, and Dr Carl Helvie ‘s book, You Can Beat Lung Cancer: Using Alternative/Integrative Interventions, describes some of the most effective. In addition, his book is packed with references and information sources that will help anyone fighting cancer learn more about how to go about it successfully.”
